Back at it again, we’re here to let you in on the best eateries – in Penticton this time, that you have to check out whether you’re a local or a tourist! Looking to grab a quick bite? Hit a beautiful patio? Or try something new? Here are our top 5 Penticton places you need to eat at this summer!

Brodo Kitchen

Brodo Kitchen – Their menu features delicious items with locally sourced ingredients from across the Okanagan. They use fresh herbs, produce, local farmers, orchards and wine from nearby vineyards to create a variety of soups, sandwiches, salads and menu that changes seasonally to reflect what’s the freshest from harvest.

Chef Paul Cecconi is a highly regarded and well recognized and award winning chef who spent time  spent time in the kitchens of The Beach House at Dundarave Pier in West Vancouver, The Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, the Regent at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, Australia, and most recently was the Executive Chef  at Local Lounge Grille in Summerland, BC before venturing off onto Brodo. Among our top favourites this place is on our MUST TRY list of Penticton Eateries for good reason!

Burger 55

Burger 55 – Set up in a renovated 1946 garage, this award winning (best burger & veggie burger, business of year, entrepreneur of year etc) has an assortment of choices from the 6 types of patties; angus beef, turkey, pork, salmon, mushroom; eight cheeses and more than 20 toppings plus an awesome selection of sauces to top it off. For your side you can choose from fresh cut fries, onion rings, sweet potatoes or a custom poutine THEN (yes, there’s more) you can wash it down with craft sodas or try their great selection of local and premium beers and wines.Conveniently located a short walk from the Lakeshore Dr boardwalk, this is a great stop for anyone who loves burgers – and if you don’t you will soon!

The Lounge at Penticton Racquet Club

The Lounge – Newly renovated and featuring a great menu selection the Lounge is a perfect meeting spot to watch sports or relax on the patio at the end of the day. If you are only looking for a small bite you can choose from starter items such as wings, jalapeno poppers, hummus, flatbread, chicken fingers, quesadilla and more; or Caesar, kale and greek salads. If you are a little more hungry you can grab a burger, rice bowl or one of their daily specials. Trust us when we say it is absolutely delicious, but we recommend you find out for yourself!

Bad Tattoo Brewery

Bad Tattoo Brewery – The team built the brewery from the ground up to give their brewmasters and guests the best spot in town to make and drink craft beer. Just a few steps from the beach they are the place to be for oven-fired pizza, fresh salads and of course, a great selection of beer.  Their beer is handcrafted in Penticton using natural ingredients with no added preservatives. The design of their labels was selected by a local artist and they do everything they can to support the locals who support them.

Brewery tours are a casual and fun way to go behind-the-scenes and see just how crazy they are about great craft beer. This is a memorable experience and the perfect way to enjoy the amazing city of Penticton!

Cellar Wine Bar and Kitchen – An inviting Mediterranean atmosphere for casual and formal dining.  The outdoor patio allows visitors to enjoy the sunshine and one of their 16 wines by the glass, extensive wine bottle menu and the globally inspired food. It is a place to retreat with neighbors, colleagues, friends and relatives to drink wine, share food and create new memories.

They have a nice selection of starters, meat and cheese plates (our favourite), pasta’s, sandwiches, salads, pizza’s, steaks, meats and seafood to choose from. Go for the food and you’ll love the service and drink menu – we guarantee it!
