Coming from a sports background, Matt has always valued the importance of a team and the philosophy behind them; it shows in not only how he carries himself but oversees the effectiveness of the team.

Chris Pinkerton, President & COO
Hometown: Vancouver, BC

For the past decade, Chris has worked with teams of marketing, branding and technology professionals to develop and improve a companies digital marketing, online sales, and clicks to bricks strategies. He’s worked with the digital teams at companies including Google US & UK, 3M, ADT, Zurich Financial, Avis Budget Group, Zipcar, The New York Times and The American Red Cross.

Prior to GetintheLoop, Chris was Vice President at Mediative and Head of the Mediative Consulting Group; an award-winning digital media and research company, which was acquired by YP in 2010.

At GITL Chris is responsible for developing and supporting the companies growth strategy across the sales, marketing & customer experience teams.

Cayley Humphries, CTO
Hometown: Saskatoon, SK

The definition of a team player, and jack of all trades when it comes to tech management. He oversees how the product is built and used by members. After working for four tech startups, Cayley definitely knew what he was looking for; to work with an award winning platform and take it to the next level. As CTO, Cayley has been able to grow a fantastic team of mobile front end and back end developers with experience and diversity which stems from within Canada and internationally as well.

Patrick La Forge, Vice President,
Partnerships and Business Development
Hometown: Lac La Biche, AB

Former President of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and COO of Oilers Entertainment Group joined GITL in early 2017 as Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development. La Forge brings a wealth of experience in corporate leadership, new business development, consumer sales and product innovation. La Forge has served as Governor of WHL, AHL, ECHL; Vice President of Molson Coors, President Alpine Canada and, Director of Marketing Communications at CP Rail. La Forge has been named one of Alberta’s 50 most influential people and is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. La Forge was also the driving force behind the Heritage Classic, the 1st outdoor NHL game.

Mitch Carefoot, Director of Enterprise Accounts
Hometown: Dauphin, MB

Starting with GetintheLoop in 2013 has allowed Mitch to wear many hats which include, but not limited to Account Director, Business Development, Director of Marketing and most recently, Director of Enterprise Accounts. Mitch has played a significant role in GITL’s continued growth and success and a true leader in the execution of company culture and vision.

Barb Newman, General Manager
Hometown: Calgary, AB

Bringing an extensive background in tech start-ups, improving the transition of enterprise clients and implementing cloud-based software into everyday operations. Barb will assist in achieving corporate goals and expand market share while helping position the company for the growth of GITL’s data driven marketing solution across Canada.

Kemp Edmonds, Director of Marketing
Hometown: Vancouver, BC

Kemp’s passion for people, technology, and communications has driven him to always be learning and sharing knowledge. His background includes teaching about new media and social media at BCIT. Kemp went on to help thousands of companies make their most of the social media, spending five years at HootSuite helping build the company from 25 people in one office to over 900 in offices worldwide. He is a difference maker when it comes to product execution and helping organizations grow and scale.

Craig Westley, Director of Sales
Hometown: Edmonton, AB

Craig has a background in the event tech management industry for the last nine years. His experience includes but is not limited to, sales forecasting, creating ROI reporting, overseeing company profitability accomplishments, coordinated training delivery to sales and leading inbound/outbound sales teams. He was responsible for over $7M in inventory, 6 branches and leading multi functional teams of 130 staff members in his Director of Operations role at SW Audio Visual.
